Who we are looking for
A Junior SharePoint Developer who will be working as part of a development team who are responsible for the administration, design, development and maintenance of the SharePoint environment.
SharePoint is used extensively within our business for the purpose of providing documentation management systems, designing bespoke in-house applications to automate business processes and hosting the Group’s intranet.
The team have a proactive approach to workloads and changing environments, working with a wide range of people across all functions and levels within Technology. Key areas of responsibility include farm and site level administration, platform migration and development including bespoke and integration with our other applications.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred skills and experience
Knowledge of web technology and development environments such as SharePoint designer, JavaScript, InfoPath, CSS and HTML.
Positive attitude, self-motivated and willing to work outside of comfort zone where necessary.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, e.g. Pivot Charts, PowerPoint and Visio.
Ability to function as a member of a team while also capable of operation with little supervision or constant guidance.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas in a professional manner.
Proactive approach to workloads and changing environments.
Ability to work with people across all functions and levels of an IT organisation.
Main Responsibilities
Providing administration capability and support for SharePoint applications.
Assisting in testing functionality of platform upgrades and changes.
Implementing changes to the SharePoint platforms such as permissions, workflows, new out of the box SharePoint lists, libraries and sites.
Developing small solutions based on requirements provided by the business.
Implementing Nintex workflows to automate processes and enhance communications.
Managing and changing the way the site looks using Style Sheets in line with the Company branding.
